I recently found my way to your WWW site(s) and thought you might find this information on Hakim Bey interesting, if it has not already come your way. He has published articles in a small magazine called The Moorish Science Monitor, which has recently changed its name to The Mad Farmer's Jubilee Almanac. It can be obtained from its editor/publisher James Koehnline, the collage artist who created the cover art for the Autonomedia edition of TAZ. His mailing address is: P.O. Box 85777 Seattle, WA 98145-1777 Apparently, Bey has become interested in the theory that Moors, that is North Africans (the Phonecians?), once ruled a vast maritime empire which included Ireland. There is a large body of compelling evidence to this end, but of course this falls outside the realms of academically acceptable historical research. The prospectus for a new organization and publication concerning this subject will be announced in the next issue of the Almanac. Also, Axiom records will be releasing an album of Bey reading from TAZ, with a musical/sound collage accompaniment, in April or May of this year. Their toll-free number in New York is 1-800-622-1387.
